Cléo is a French artist, living here and there, and trying to find Home in her Body.
She is painting on canvas and on city walls.
Her paintings are like spells that channel energy, guiding her to the next step on her journey.
The heart of her practice lies in subtle listening: tuning in to messages from realms that are intangible and beyond the material world—images from dreams, bodily sensations, and the emotions we experience when we truly allow ourselves to feel. It’s about what emerges when we listen, when we pay attention, and when we ask.
Her path is one of courage, strength, and community-building, with the intention of softening and discovering joy. Through her art, she observes, and with intention, she anchors or shifts states of being.
Working with clay is remembering to stay playful and to experiment, to eventually destroy an object and start from scratch again.
Her current project focuses on deepening her connection to water (see statement), and she is a friend of plants, trees, and the subtle world. .
As reflected in her portfolio, she often creates her paintings in dialogue with a specific plant.
Cléo is also the founder of « La Gazette du Kozhkêr » : « Nothing in this world can exist without a context to hold it. We are deeply fortunate to be held by a beautiful neighborhood community, with a genuine curiosity for this project and its mission.
